What we do and how we do it
A little of how and why Neuro Paws started...

With a history dog training since 2011 and walking dogs from the age of 8 (this was allowed in the 90's haha), my passion started when I met a special mixed breed Tazzie, he was a high drive terrier cross, and loved Parkour (before it was cool) at 8 years old I had him running, climbing and jumping we spent every day together after school at the park, he lived until he was 18!

I walked many local dogs including a Golden Retriever, Greyhound, Jack Russel and spent a lot of time with a neighbours German Shepherd, at a young age I found a love for all dogs.

My German shepherd was previously dog reactive, I worked hard to address the issues to help her become happy again, with help from my mentor, I started helping at the puppy classes and started studying and learning all things dogs, I fell in love with helping dogs all shapes and sizes covering all of Milton Keynes.

I now own a White German Shepherd, a rescue Husky and a Welsh Sheepdog puppy who all live in harmony.

We opened our doors here at Neuro Paws in 2023 since then we have seen and supported many different pooches and problems.

We have a team of Dog Walkers who are experienced, Insured, DBS checked, First aid trained. You can read more about each walker in the Dog Walking Section at the top of the page.

We do all this by using methods such as behaviour shaping, games based training, targeting by using these methods we create a thinking dog, the dog that makes the right decision without being asked.

If you find a style of training is too difficult we are equip to help by using another method within positive reinforcement training.

Behaviour shaping can be a little tricky to start with but it's amazing to watch your dog make his or her own decisions and do the right thing without being told or commanded.
